AUGUSTA – The wedding of Jenna W. Monaghan and Matthew P. Rocque was held at 1 p.m. on Aug. 2 at St. Augustine Church in Augusta.

Mrs. Rocque is the daughter of David Monaghan of Miami, Fla., and Stephanie Wilson of Rumford. Mr. Rocque is the son of Lester and Germaine Rocque of Augusta.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. Ashley D. Monaghan, sister of the bride, attended as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Breche Monaghan, twin sister of the bride, and Melissa Freeman, Amy Pechmonavo and Katherine Slye, friends of the bride. Acra Starr, niece of the bride, was flower girl.

Serving as best man for his brother was Peter L. Rocque. Ushers were Kent Stewart, Jim Williams, David Piantidosi and Jared Morelli, friends of the bridegroom. David Goodwin, friend of the bride, was ring bearer.

A reception followed at the Winslow VFW Hall. The couple is residing in Jay.

The bride received a bachelor’s degree from Husson College and is employed at Andover College in Lewiston.

The bridegroom received a degree from Universal Tech Institute and is employed at Maine Market Refrigeration in Fayette.
