Auburn – Margaret F. Nile, 87, formerly of 74 Lake Auburn Ave., Auburn, died on Nov. 8, at Clover Manor.
She was born in Mechanic Falls, Oct. 7, 1921, a daughter of the late George and Ethel (Herrick) Snow. On Sept. 7, 1946, she married Charles Nile, who predeceased her in 1974.
She worked at Bates Mill for a short period of time but spent most of her time as a homemaker.
Margaret loved to write and had a knack for speaking on a whim.
She is survived by two sons, David Snow of Yosemite, Calif., and John Churchill and wife, Joanne, of Winthrop. She also leaves many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and six nieces and three nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Charles; and sisters, Emma Cutler of Litchfield and Madeline Kelley of Farmington.
The family would like to express a special thanks to the staff at Clover Manor for the care and support that they have provided Margaret with for over the past year.
