Emily Morris is the art teacher at Philip W. Sugg Middle School. She is also the Art Club Advisor. Art Club is open to all PWS students and meets every Wednesday from 2:30 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. in the Art Room. During Art Club, members are welcome to express themselves in art. Ms. Morris has ideas on what students can do.

Students are encouraged to express themselves in Art by being creative. Last year, members of the Art Club carved pumpkins for The Children’s Miracle Network, and made snow sculptures in front of the school. Art Club member, Zoe Mullen, recently shared her experience with Origami. A number of Art Club members made their own paper cranes thanks to Zoe’s assistance. “It is my goal for students to feel they can challenge themselves and enjoy experimenting with new methods of painting or creating sculptures,” shares Ms. Morris.
