Craft, bake sale
LIVERMORE FALLS – A craft and bake sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, at the Church of the Nazarene family center, Baldwin Street entrance. For more information, call 491-9391
Hours changing
RANGELEY – The Thrift Shoppe, located in the undercroft of the Church of the Good Shepherd, Main Street, is changing over to winter hours. It will operate exclusively on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. starting Nov. 15.
Donations of clean clothing and working household items continue to be welcome and may be left in the side entry.
Club speaker
FARMINGTON – Libby Kaut will be the speaker at a Mt. Blue Area Garden Club meeting at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18, at Trinity United Methodist Church. She will give a presentation on desert flowers.
A social half hour will precede the meeting, starting at 12:30. Hostesses will be Helen Wilkey, Bonnie Ladd and Peg Lang. Guests are welcome.
Art, craft fair
MT. VERNON – A Christmas in the Village Art and Craft Fair will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, at the Mt. Vernon Community Center and Masonic Hall, Mt. Vernon Village.
There will be art prints, maple products, baskets, herbal products and handcrafted items.
Christmas fair
WILTON – The 15th annual Mt. Blue Christmas Craft Fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, at the Nichols Expo, Route 156. The event is sponsored by the Mt. Blue High School junior and senior classes for Project Graduation.
There will be free fingerprinting, demonstrations and entertainment. A continental breakfast and luncheon will be served. For more information, call Shannon at 778-4726.
The Wilton Free Public Library will sell books at sale also.
This ‘n’ that sale
LIVERMORE FALLS – A This ‘n’ That Holiday Sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, at Eaton Memorial United Methodist Church. There will be homebaked foods, crafts and attic treasures. Beef stew and fish chowder lunches will be available from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Benefit supper
CHESTERVILLE – There will be a benefit spaghetti supper at the Chesterville Town Hall on Saturday, Nov. 22, to help defray the medical expenses of Orin Knowles and Greg Soule.
Both Chesterville residents have recently suffered serious injuries, which will limit their activities for some time. Town organizations are working together to sponsor the supper, which will start at 4:30 p.m.

Parents night
JAY – A financial aid information presentation for the parents of Jay High School juniors and seniors will be given at 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 24, in the Jay High School library.
A representative from the Finance Authority of Maine will be presenting this year. The presentation defines financial aid, explains how to apply and describes the types of financial aid.
