People gathered along with American Legion Post 28 members for a prayer led by Legion Chaplain Robert Stevens at Meetinghouse Park in Farmington on Tuesday in observance of Veterans Day. The color guard, including Horace LaBree, Sherry Kempton, Bob Hallman, Les Gatchell and Charlie Bennett, with help from Cub Scout Troop 585 of Farmington, led a short service at the WWI Memorial on Main Street prior to the stop at the park. A service was also held at noon at Wal-Mart.
