DeMolay chapter installs its officers
AUBURN – The Knights of the Sun Chapter, Order of DeMolay for Boys, recently held installation of officers at the Auburn Masonic Temple, 1021 Turner St. Installed as master councilor was Samuel Goldsberry of Lisbon Falls. Goldsberry will serve his chapter for six months and will lead the chapter in many activities, including charitable work and fundraising. In addition, the boys will be hold many fun activities.
Installed as officers for 2008 were: master councilor, Goldsberry; senior councilor, Andrew Cotterly; junior councilor, Jeremy Benway; chaplain, Shaughn Little; marshal, Steven Farrington; senior steward, Michael Kelley; and junior steward, Matthew Principe.
Serving as Installing officers were State Master Councilor Robert Franklin of the Windham Chapter, State Senior Councilor Noah Bussiere of the Buxton Chapter, State Junior Councilor Andrew Cotterly of the Auburn Chapter, State Senior Deacon Jeremy Harmon of the Buxton Chapter and State Chaplain Decker Lenard of the Buxton Chapter.
The International Order of DeMolay for Boys is an organization dedicated to preparing young men to lead successful and productive lives. DeMolay is open for ages 12 to 21, developing civic awareness, personal responsibility and leadership skills.
