FARMINGTON – A Weld man was indicted Wednesday on sex charges involving three girls under the age of 12.
Michael Keim, 64, was charged by a Franklin County grant jury with 12 felony counts of unlawful sexual contact for each of the three charges.
Keim was arrested in September in connection with the incidents that occurred while the girls were on Calvary Hill Baptist Church retreats at Keim’s home in 1999 and 2000. A member of the church, Keim hosted several retreats.
The incidents were reported by a parent of two Franklin County girls to Wilton Police Chief Dennis Brown in August.
Keim posted $5,000 cash bail with conditions that he could not return to the church or have contact with anyone under the age of 18.
