The 5th Annual Kora Shriners Car Show & Fly-in will be held on July 11 & 12 at Twitchell’s Airport in Turner. This event has grown tremendously over the first four years and is rapidly becoming one of the larger Car Show & Fly-ins in the state. A change to a two-day event a couple of years ago have added to its popularity. Day one features a Car Cruise and then a Pig Roast followed by live entertainment. Day two starts with the Fly-in (weather permitting) and the Car Show participants start forming a line at 6 a.m. to be one of the first to register as over 300 cars have registered the last three years. This event also features a huge Food Tent, merchandise vendors and a free Child Identification Program called MECHIP and sponsored by the Freemasons of Maine. If you have not attended this event, please make plans to attend this great family event!
