Lewiston – Robert J. Bernard, 74, of Roxbury Pond, passed away at Central Maine Medical Center on Friday, Nov. 14.
He was born in Mexico on July 20, 1934, to Cezime and Olivette (Bourgois) Bernard.
He graduated from Mexico High School in 1954.
Bob was a carpenter and cabinet maker for over 50 years and was a true artist in his field.
On Oct. 26, 1962, he married the love of his life, Gloria D. (Blouin) Bernard.
His great joys in life were living on Roxbury Pond, fishing and spending time with friends and family.
He bowled on a league for over 30 years and was an avid card player.
He is survived by his wife Gloria, of Roxbury Pond; his daughters, Lisa R. (Bernard) Conary and her husband, Shawn, of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Cindy G. Bernard and her husband, Steve Dick, of Roxbury Pond; and a brother, Eugene Bernard and wife, Clarice, of Topsham.
He was predeceased by his parents; two sisters, Dolores (Bernard) Montgomery and Jackie (Bernard) Giroux; and a brother, Bertram Bernard.
