AUBURN – Theda Schnall, 82, of 417 Megquier Hill Road, Poland, died Saturday, Nov. 15, at the Hospice House of Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice.
She was born in New York City, on Dec. 8, 1925, the daughter of Sam and Rose Furer Rothenberg. She moved to the local area a year ago after making her home in Pompton Lakes, N.J., for more than 52 years, and working as a certified nursing assistant at the Lakeview Convalescent Home in Wayne, N.J., for more than 25 years.
Survivors include a daughter, J. Diane and husband, Daniel Shnaider, of Poland; two brothers, Arnold Rothenberg of Lincoln Park, N.J., and Jerome Rothenberg of Sandusky, Ohio; a sister, Mildred Engel of Wyckoff, N.J.; three granddaughters, Tiffany Coward-Krastins and her husband, Aleks Krastins, and Jennifer and Amanda Coward; and a great-grandson, Kristopher.
She was predeceased by a son, Douglas Schnall; and a brother, Benjamin Rothenberg.
