WATERBORO – Curtis W. Lessard, 22, of Waterboro, became an angel on Nov. 18, after a rare disease claimed his life.

He was born in North Carolina, on July 7, 1986, a son to Lucien Lessard and Leah Short Pillarella. He attended area schools and was employed in Connecticut.

He will be sadly, but fondly missed by his father, Lucien Lessard and wife, Pam; two brothers, Lucien and Kyle; his mother, Leah Pillarella and husband, Dan; two sisters, Haleigh and Melissa; his grandmother, Jeanne Gamache; his grandfather, William Short and companion, Joanne Draper; grandfather, Bert Lessard; second “Mom,” Jan Haley; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
