BYRON – Ervin E. Rose Sr., 69, of Swift River Road in Byron, died Sunday, Nov. 16, after a brief illness.
He was born in Dighton, Mass., on May 2, 1939, a son of Albert S. and Orlina (Ellis) Rose.
He worked as a woodsman for many years and had his own business selling firewood, Christmas wreaths and Christmas balls.
He was an avid hunter and was a member of the North American Hunting Club. He loved spending time with family and friends and picking blueberries.
He is survived by a son, Ervin Rose Jr. of Byron; a sister, Maxine Farrar of Mexico; and a brother, Charles Rose of Lakeworth, Fla.
He was predeceased by his parents; and a brother, Albert Rose.
