WINDHAM – The wedding of Jamie Rae Moreau and Brendan Roy was held at 10:30 a.m. on June 21 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Windham. The Rev. Normand E. Carpentier officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Roy is the daughter of Roland and Anne Moreau of New Gloucester. Mr. Roy is the son of David and Susan Roy of Gardner, Mass.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents. Angelina Mooney, sister of the bride, attended as matron of honor and Michelle Moreau, cousin of the bride, served as a bridesmaid.

The best friend of the bridegroom, Jim Hunt, and Christopher Roy, the bridegroom’s brother, performed the duties of best men. Ushers were David Roy and Michael Roy, brothers of the bridegroom, and Benjamin Moreau, brother of the bride.

A reception followed at Point Sebago in Casco.

The bride is a graduate of St. Dominic Regional High School and received an associate degree in physical therapy and a bachelor’s degree in psychology at Endicott College in Massachusetts. She also received a master’s degree in special education from Simmons College in Massachusetts. She is currently employed at Oregon Elementary in Alamogordo, N.M.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Gardner High School in Massachusetts and served in the U.S. Coast Guard, EMT and was a licensed plumber in Massachusetts. He is currently a federal agent with the U.S. Border Patrol in Alamogordo, N.M.

In December they will be relocating to Vermont, where the bridegroom will be employed with the Division of Homeland Securities and the bride will be continuing to work in the field of special education.
