KINGFIELD – Selectmen have appointed four people to the Planning Board, administrative assistant Greg Davis said.

Chuck Twitchell, Brad Orbeton and Mark Wahl Jr. will serve immediately, and Thaniel Smith will on Dec. 1 when Elizabeth Ann Listowich’s resignation becomes official.

The board accepted resignations from Planning Board members Marianne Stevens, James Meldrum and Rose Winter.

During a special town meeting, three voters approved refinancing the $194,000 remaining debt for the fire station at a 3.67 percent interest rate through 2013, Davis said.
