AUBURN – Auburn Youth Hockey Squirt House Two scored a pair of victories at Ingersoll Arena over the weekend, downing Midcoast, 7-4, and shutting out Fairfield, 5-0.

Seven different players scored a goal in the Saturday win. Jacob Lawrence, Matthew Verrill, Ally Mackenzie, Dana Latlippe, Mat Futch, Connor Samson and Zach Boyd shared in the scoring. Auburn rallied from a one-goal deficit on four different occasions before Latlippe and Futch’s strikes at the end of the second period put AYH ahead to stay.

Boyd, Samson, Jamison Pooler and Thomas Bodge registered assists for Auburn. Reece Rodrigue was the winning goaltender. Grant Schertzer scored twice for Midcoast, with Steven Schuman and Tyler Brodeur each collecting a goal. Parker Lacci, Coleman Conner and Andrew Gardiner picked up the assists.

Futch lit the lamp twice against Fairfield. Boyd notched a goal and an assist. Samson and Riley Lavoie rounded out the goal scoring. Lawrence logged two assists, with Tyler Lacascio also setting up a goal.

Pooler produced the shutout between the pipes.
