Care and Share Food Cupboard volunteers Lynda Haskell, John Craig and Holly Price tote food boxes Monday for some recipients of 240 Thanksgiving baskets prepared for the community. The baskets included turkey and other items suitable for a dinner including a half gallon of cider donated by Terry’s Orchards. Employees from several businesses helped gather items for the baskets, said volunteer organizer Carolyn McLaughlin who had a crew of 10 there Monday to help. By noon, a supply of free winter coats was gone. St. Luke’s Church and Old South brought coats to share with local residents.
