The Department of Human Services holds a backpack drive which gives foster children a bag of goods when they are switching homes. For the ninth year in a row, Poland Spring Academy donated backpacks for the make-a-difference day. This year, over half the student body was involved, by either donating goods for the bags or donating their time to help fill the bags. In all, more than 50 bags were filled and donated. Thanks to the help of PSA, many children will have a bag of necessities in their time of need. The Department of Human Services was both pleased and thankful.
