BRUNSWICK – Sophie Goulet led a trio of players to register two goals as St. Dom’s skated to a 7-0 victory over Brunswick in both schools’ first Maine Principals’ Association-sanctioned girls’ ice hockey game Tuesday.

Ali Hebert and Lydia Martin also tallied twice for the Saints. Meghan Poulin also scored to round out the St. Dom’s tally.

St. Dom’s held a 3-0 advantage after the first period before capping a dominant evening with four more in the second frame.

Girls’ hockey was elevated to varsity status this winter after many years as a club sport in Maine.
