I voted for a casino in Maine because I believe Maine needs more jobs. This is supply and demand.

L.L. Bean and others understand this. Why would they want a casino? This would hurt their job market.

I now believe the people behind the casino worked for their self-interest, not the interests of Maine and its people. When I hire people to work on my house, I expect the job to be done the proper way: When they’re done, they should clean up and take their trash with them.

Today, I still pass by signs on the side of the road for the casino.

This is a reflection of any company. Why would you hire or vote for them again?

It’s the time to have a casino in Maine.

I believe the state and people of Maine should put their heads together and open up a casino.
