I wanted to let everyone know about the good thing bikers did this past Saturday, Nov. 22.
They raised money at The Cage on Ash Street in Lewiston for the food bank to buy Christmas hams for those who may not have the money to buy one. The event was put on by Dan Tremblay, a Saracen from Turner.
He cooked a dinner for all who came and gave money to help others out. You always hear the bad that bikers do and not a lot about the good. This event was a wonderful thing and I appreciate everyone who came out and gave what they could, all the bikers who helped out. This event was so great and I am proud of the Saracens for what they all did to help out others.
We all could learn from the bikers that we need to reach out and help others in this hard time.We all go on with life and sometimes forget just how hard times are right now, but the Saracens didn’t forget on Nov. 22.
They did a wonderful thing and I hope more people out there do the same.
Reach out to others and stop taking life for granted.
