LIVERMORE FALLS – The Livermore Falls-Jay Senior Citizens met at Murray Hall on Nov. 24 with 27 members present.

Chairwoman Shirley Couture opened the meeting with prayer, salute to the flag and a moment of silence for departed members and for the men and women in the armed forces. Reported on the sick list were Marie Leblanc and Lorette Chabot.

The Christmas party will be held on Monday, Dec. 15, and members should sign up as soon as possible. They will be playing the rip-off game.

Those members celebrating birthdays in November are Doris DeMillo, George Doiron, Doris Ouellette, Lois Gordon, Jeannine Williams and Maggie Dufour.

The 50-50 was won by Edith Leblanc, and the raffle of Christmas decorations was won by Carmen Moreau. The meeting was adjourned, and cards and games were played.
