Taxpayers need relief. We need our representatives and senators to take notice of what they vote on.
Just remember whose money you’re spending; also remember who voted you into office. Look at programs giving people help. Investigate those people who come for help.
Demand from people who sit behind desks to do their jobs. Cut their clients by at least 10 percent by January. Let some of these people go get a job, if they are able to work. The saying, “I can’t find a job” should stop. Get a few brooms and shovels. If a person can work, let them use these tools. They can sweep or shovel snow.
If people want help, let them help the town or city. Help the ones who help themselves; this is not a free boat ride any more. Get rid of the deadwood in the departments of the cities and towns. We all would be better off.
Start with teachers. Smart teachers should start forming classrooms of 25 to 30 children. If a teacher thinks they cannot do this, remember there are teachers out there who can and do teach without help. Schools should bring back vocational training, to give children some work ethic starting in the seventh grade. Give them something to be proud of. There are many ways to cut costs in this state. Try to do your best on any job.
