NORWAY – Kelly Moore, admissions supervisor at Stephens Memorial Hospital, has successfully completed the exam for certification as a patient account technician.

Moore has worked for Stephens Memorial Hospital since 1993 and is responsible for the daily operations of central registration and switchboard operations. Moore joins several staff from the patient billing department at Stephens in achieving this level of professional certification.

Ann Stengelsen, CPAM, director of patient registration and billing at SMH, noted, “The certified patient account technician is nationally recognized as having achieved a high standard of proficiency in all aspects of the processing of patient accounts, from patient access on through to credit and collections.”

Moore resides in Windham with her husband, Jim.
