FORT LEWIS, Wash. – Private First Class Blaine Nicholas Benjamin Adams, 19, of Farmington died Saturday, Nov. 29, at Madigan Army Medical Center.
He was born Aug. 22, 1989, in Farmington, the son of Randy B. and Kenda M. (Ladd) Adams. He attended Farmington schools graduating from Mt. Blue High School in 2007.
He went on to enter the U.S. Army, attended basic training at Fort Jackson, S.C., then to Fort Eustis, Va., and then assessed for the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment, where he served as a 15U Chinook Mechanic.
He enjoyed hanging out with his friends and family, wrestling, hunting, fishing and weight lifting. Blaine also enjoyed the time he spent at the Foster Vocational Techecnical School in the carpentry program. He will be deeply missed.
Blaine is survived by his parents, Kenda and Randy; his grandparents, Joyce Conlogue and Roland Adams; his sister, Millissa Pierce of Burnham; and his nephew, Lucas Pierce of Burnham.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Mildred Jones and Floyd Ladd; his stepgrandfather, Lawrence Conlogue; and his aunt, Sandy Adams.
