NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. – David Collins Thibault died in New Smyrna Beach, Fla., on Dec. 1.
He was born in Portland, on Aug. 12, 1958. He graduated in 1976 from Mt. Blue High School in Farmington. He then went on to serve in the Air Force as an electrical support technician.
He served as president of the multi-state construction company Atlantis Drywall. He was with the company in excess of 20 years. His extensive works with local charitable organizations included Kids House, Safe House, House of Hope, Habitat for Humanity, The Special Olympics Pavilion of Lake County and Miracle House of Orlando for the Adam Walsh Foundation.
He was an avid golfer with a passion for life and his family. He was a loving and devoted son, husband, father, brother and friend.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Thibault of Lake Mary, Fla.; his mother, Marilyn Thibault of Rangeley; sister, Denise Mercier and brother, Dennis Thibault; six children, Lloyd Lanford, Serena Harrison, Simone Thibault, Daniel Thibault, Alex Comings and Austin Comings; and three grandchildren, Christian, Angelina and Keegan Harrison.
