Air Force Airman Hana J. Gagnon has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.
During the six weeks of training, the airman studied the Air Force mission, organization, core values and military customs and courtesies, performed drill and ceremony marches and received physical training, rifle marksmanship, field training exercises and special training in human relations.
In addition, airmen who complete basic training earn credits toward an associate in applied science degree relating through the Community College of the Air Force.
Gagnon is the daughter of Jeanne Gagnon of Sabattus and niece of Jaynne Hinkley of Litchfield. She is a 2008 graduate of Oak Hill High School, Wales.
Pvt. James Jordan, a 2008 graduate of Poland Regional High School, has completed U.S. Army basic training, U.S. Army Infantryman’s Program and U.S. Army Airborne School at Fort Benning, Ga. Jordan is on his way to Fort Bragg, N.C., where he will serve with the 82nd Airborne Division. He is the son of Dean and Natalie Jordan of Poland and has a sister, Ashley.
