Gary N. Goodheart II of Litchfield has graduated from the Great Lakes Navy Recruit Training Command in Illinois.

Goodheart is assigned to the Naval Air Technical Training Center in Pensacola, Fla., where he is training to become a specialist in aircraft maintenance. This area supports naval operations by keeping the aircraft and equipment running efficiently.

Goodheart is the son of Gary Goodheart Sr. and Lisa Smart and is a graduate of Oak Hill High School in Wales.

Air Force Airman Hana J. Gagnon has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

During the six weeks of training, the airman studied the Air Force mission, organization, core values and military customs and courtesies, performed drill and ceremony marches and received physical training, rifle marksmanship, field training exercises and special training in human relations.

In addition, airmen who complete basic training earn credits toward an associate in applied science degree relating through the Community College of the Air Force.

Gagnon is the daughter of Jeanne Gagnon of Sabattus and niece of Jaynne Hinkley of Litchfield. She is a 2008 graduate of Oak Hill High School, Wales.

Air Force Airman 1st Class Joel L. Foster has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

Pvt. James Jordan, a 2008 graduate of Poland Regional High School, has completed U.S. Army basic training, U.S. Army Infantryman’s Program and U.S. Army Airborne School at Fort Benning, Ga. Jordan is on his way to Fort Bragg, N.C., where he will serve with the 82nd Airborne Division. He is the son of Dean and Natalie Jordan of Poland and has a sister, Ashley.
