LEWISTON – Andrew C. Parker, 36, of 21 Allen Pond Road, Greene, died Wednesday, Dec. 3, at Central Maine Medical Center, as a result of an accident at his home on Sunday, Nov. 30.
He was born in Lewiston, on Feb. 22, 1972, the son of Alphonse “Butch” and Joyce (Dickison) Parker.
He graduated from Leavitt High School, Class of 1990. He was currently employed at the Super 8 Motel, where he was highly respected and enjoyed by his co-workers. He also enjoyed reading and buying the latest comic books which was his Wednesday ritual.
His expansive collection of comic books included one where he was featured as a background character. He liked movies and was a history buff. He was known for his unique sense of humor and generosity. Andy’s generosity and giving nature was continued in death by donating his organs to help others, turning him into a true superhero like those in the comic books he enjoyed.
He is survived by his mother, Joyce Bubier and his stepfather, Randy Bubier, both of Greene; two sisters, Candy Blais and her husband, Mario, of Greene and Melinda Bubier and her husband, Daniel Brooks, of Stafford, N.H.
The greatest enjoyment in life was his niece, Ella, and nephews Evan, Shawn and Ricky.
He was predeceased by his father in 1973.
