AUBURN – Everett W. Flaherty, 61, of Sabattus, died Tuesday, Dec. 2, at Androscoggin Hospice House, after a brief battle with cancer.

He was born April 19, 1947, in Lewiston, to Michael and Emma (Ridley) Flaherty. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and the outdoors.

He is survived by three brothers, Moses Flaherty of Litchfield, Herbert Flaherty of Winthrop and Ernest Flaherty of Winthrop.

He was predeceased by one sister, Marie of Augusta.
