LAKELAND, Fla. – Daniel J. Thibault went to meet his Lord on Nov. 15, after a valiant battle with cancer. He had been living in Lakeland, Fla., for the past four years.
He was born in Lewiston, June 30, 1942.
He was drafted into the army in 1964, and discharged in 1966. While in Vietnam, he was a medic serving in a MASH unit. He came home with an enlarged heart and atrial fibrillation due to exposure to “Agent Orange.” His health continually deteriorated for the remainder of his life.
He was greatly loved by everyone who knew him. His sense of humor kept us all laughing. His generousity to all was unsurpassed and he will be greatly missed.
He is survived by three sisters, Diane Dube and her husband, Joseph Maurice Dube, of Enfield, Conn., and Lakeland, Fla., Doris Huff of McPherson, Kan., and Jeannine Thibeault of Lewiston; one brother, Larry J. Thibeault of Auburn; five nephews; two nieces; five great-nephews; and six great-nieces.
He was predeceased by his parents, Viviane F. Morin in 1982, and John J. Thibeault in 1991.
Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date.
