SOUTH PARIS – Elizabeth F. Maxim, 87, of South Paris, died Friday, Nov. 28, at Market Square Health Care Center.
She was born in Portland, on April 29, 1921, the daughter of Edward and Mary Ann Finlay Houston. She graduated from Deering High School and had been a registered nurse in several hospitals throughout New England, then became a housewife. She was a member of the South Paris Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Warren M. Maxim and his wife, Connie, grandson, Mark Maxim and his wife, Lori, great-grandchildren, Jason, Nathan and Jared Maxim, all of Dayton, Nev.; granddaughter, Andrea L. Pauling and her husband, Brent, of Minden, Nev.; son, Howard W. Maxim and his wife, Robin, of Paris; granddaughter, Heather L. Barnett and husband, Mark, and great-grandchild, Fox Lennon Barnett, all of Auburn; grandsons, Harley W. Maxim of Portland and Walter P. Maxim of San Francisco, Calif.
She was predeceased by her husband, Harold Maxim of Bethel.
