LIVERMORE FALLS – The wedding of Julie Dion and Justin Dodd was held at 4 p.m. on Oct. 11 at Emmanuel Assembly of God Church in Livermore Falls. Pastor Gary Pierson officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Dodd is the daughter of David and Jackie Dion of Livermore. Mr. Dodd is the son of Dennis and Linda Dodd of East Fairfield, Vt.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. Jaime Dion, sister-in-law, served as honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Janna Gilbert, friend, Erica Dodd, sister of the bridegroom, and Alexandra Conant and Tricia Richard, cousins of the bridegroom.

Performing the duties of best man was Wil Brigham, friend of the bridegroom. Ushers were Rick Devine, Sean Dudley, Shaun Boren and Greg McFarland, all friends of the bridegroom.

A reception followed at Turner Highlands in Turner, after which the couple traveled to Colorado. They are residing in Windsor, Conn.

The bride is a 2005 graduate of Livermore Falls High School and Vermont Technical College with a degree for veterinarian technician. She is employed at VCA Valley Animal Hospital.

The bridegroom is a 2003 graduate of Bellows Free Academy in St. Alban’s, Vt., and Vermont Technical College with a degree in mechanical/electrical engineering. He is employed at Alstom in Windsor, Conn.
