JAY – Santa Claus is coming to town Wednesday and will be holding a free photo session for those interested.

Santa arrives at noon and will stay until 4 p.m. Dec. 10 at the town office, an organizer, Lori Shink said.

There are also tags on the Christmas tree at the office for anyone who wants to buy a gift for Operation Santa Claus, she said.

The gifts should be delivered unwrapped with a tag and need to be in by Wednesday, Dec. 17.

There is also an opportunity for residents to bring nonperishable food items to put under the tree, Shink said. Those items will be donated to the local food bank, a few days before Christmas.
