Hymn sing

STARKS – The annual United in Christ Presbyterian Church Christmas hymn sing will take place at 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, at the church on Locke Hill Road. A turkey supper with all the trimmings will follow at 5 p.m. next door at the Starks Memorial Hall.

Society speaker

FARMINGTON – Sandy River Genealogical Society will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, in the Farmington Public Library history room. The guest speaker will be Barbara Guvaldsen, speaking on immigration. The meeting is open to the public.

Library hours

WILTON – The Wilton Free Public Library will alter its hours on Wednesday, Dec. 24 and 31 . The library will be open on those days from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The library will be closed on Dec. 25, 26, 27 and Jan. 1. Call 645-4831 for information.
