LEWISTON – Jerome L. Lamore, 66, of 345 Stevens Mills Road, Auburn, died unexpectedly on Sunday, Dec. 7, at Central Maine Medical Center.
He was born in Lewiston, on March 18, 1942, the son of Leo and Theresa (Blanchette) Lamore and had been a resident of this community all of his life.
He was employed for many years as a marine electrician at BIW until his retirement in January of this year.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He had enjoyed life to the fullest.
He is survived by his wife, the former Rejeanne Castonguay Lamore, whom he married on June 16, 1973 of Scarborough; one daughter, Delia Lamore of Evanston, Ill.; his mother, Theresa Lamore of Auburn; one brother, Paul Lamore and his wife, Anne, of Monmouth; four sisters, Rita James and her husband, Ronald, of Wales, Annette Page of Auburn, Anita Guay of Auburn and Carmen Castonguay and her husband, Richard, of Durham; and several nieces and nephews.
