AUBURN – Peter Keaney scored nine of his 17 points in the fourth quarter to help St. Dom’s stave off Hyde School of Bath, 65-56, in Class C boys’ basketball.

Aaron Allen led the Saints (1-1) with 23 points and 12 rebounds. Greg LaBonte added 12 points and eight assists.

St. Dom’s led by three points at the end of the first quarter and protected that same margin, 41-38, entering the fourth.

Dustin Richardson led all scorers with 24 points for the Phoenix (0-1).

Keaney and LaBonte each hit two 3-pointers for the Saints.

Fryeburg/Lake Region 7, Lisbon/Oak Hill 1

AUBURN – Forward Kevin Zachrisson scored a hat trick and collected pair of asissts to carry lead Fryeburg/Lake Region to a 7-1 triumph over Lisbon/Oak Hill in Class A ice hockey action Monday evening. The IceCats (2-0) paced themselves with two goals in the first period, while lighting up the lamp thrice and twice in the following frames.

Josh Prue prevented the Barracudas (0-1) from being shut out with an unassisted tally in the third period.

to make it 6-1 at the time. Goalie Cam Blouin made 43 saves for Lisbon/Oak Hill, while Darryl Brown turned back 10 shots to notch the win in goal for Fryeburg/Lake Region.
