FARMINGDALE (AP) – A Farmingdale man faces multiple charges after taking a flying leap from a second-floor landing and fleeing while police searched his home for drugs.

The Kennebec County Sheriff’s Office says it executed a warrant Sunday at the home of 41-year-old Russell Truman. Truman arrived home during the search and allegedly jumped from the second floor 20 feet to the ground, landing without injury and taking off on foot.

Deputies quickly chased Truman down and placed him under arrest.

Police say they found about 15 grams of cocaine, 60 doses of heroin, prescription pills and drug paraphernalia.

Truman is being held on $25,000 cash bail.
