BRUNSWICK – Gulf of Maine Books will host a publishing party for two new books of poetry at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7. They are “Agreeable Friends: Contemporary Animal Poetry,” edited by Alice Persons and published by Moon Pie Press; and “Wounded By Zen,” a collection of poems by Gil Helmick.

“Agreeable Friends” is a collection of 48 contributing poets. At least six of these writers will read their poems, and poems by others, at the event.
