LEWISTON – Victoria I. Goding, 64, of Lewiston, died Monday, Dec. 8, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center, after a short illness with her family by her side.

She was born in Norway, on March 24, 1944, the daughter of Percy and Nettie (Rich) Monk. She worked for many years at the Pineland Center. She loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed shopping with her good friend Loretta Norris.

She is survived by two sons, Thomas Goding and his wife, Joyce, of Jay and Peter Goding of Norway; three brothers, Benton Monk and his wife, Gloria, of Berlin, N.H., Percy Monk and his wife, Marsha, of Mason Township and Rick Houghton and his wife, Linda, of Turner; one sister, Jeanie Smith and her husband, Wallace, of Leeds; three grandchildren, Avery, Emily and Luke; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Charles E. Goding Jr. on Oct. 13, 2001; and her son, Mark Goding on March 29, 1984.
