WINTRHOP – The CODA Chorus will present its Christmas concert, celebrating in song the story of Christmas and the simple joy of the season, Sunday, Dec. 14, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. There will be performances at 3 p.m. and again at 6 p.m.

Included in the program are arrangements of “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing” and “Silent Night;” selections from Handel’s “Messiah;” and a Christmas carol singalong. The concert features several solo performances, chorus member Alfred Lund on percussion, Joe Begenwald on trumpet, the Winthrop Area Handbell Ringers and pianist Mark Johnston assisting on one piece.
