Glen Davis of South Paris was speaker at a meeting of the Minot Historical Society. Davis has taught courses on ancient history and Bible history. He has made four trips to the Middle East, and on two of the trips he worked as a volunteer on digs in Israel. Refreshments were served after the meeting. The society will not meet in December. The next meeting will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13, at the Minot Town Office. Davis, right, is pictured with Eleanor Thayer, society member.
