PALM COAST, Fla. – Margaret T. Mockler, 92, died Tuesday, Dec. 9, at Florida Hospital Flagler.

She was born Sept. 29, 1916, in Lisbon Falls, the daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth (Doboga) Kachmar. She graduated from Lisbon Falls High School in 1934 and the Kennebec School of Commerce in Augusta.

She married Richard J. Mockler on Feb. 16, 1935, in Lisbon Falls. Her life was dedicated mostly to being a homemaker, although she used her commercial education to assist her husband in the billing and bookkeeping functions of his business, Mockler’s Texaco Station, in Gardiner. After her husband’s retirement, she worked several years at the Augusta General Hospital as a ward clerk.

Survivors include her son, Richard J. Mockler Jr. and his wife, Martha, of Palm Coast, Fla.; four grandchildren, Bethany Ann Mockler of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., Milissa Jill Duke of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., Leanna Dawn Rivera of Jacksonville, Fla., and Richard J. Mockler III of Tampa, Fla.; and one great-grandchild, Katherine Anne Mockler of Tampa, Fla.

She was predeceased by her brother, Joseph Kachmar; and her husband, Richard J. Mockler Sr.
