LEWISTON – Normand W. Ouellette, 75, of Lisbon, died Thursday, Dec. 11, at d’Youville Pavilion, with his loving wife and godson by his side.

He was born in Lewiston, on Nov. 14, 1933, the son of Wilfred and Jeanne (Pomerleau) Ouellette. He graduated from Edward Little High School in 1953.

He worked for 30 years at Philips Elmet in Lewiston until his retirement in 1995.

In his younger years, he loved playing the trumpet. He played in the high school marching band and after high school played with local bands. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and would always talk about the trips he took with his son up north.

He enjoyed traveling with dear friends and family. Quebec was a favorite destination.

He had a passion for photography, taking many photos of landscapes and family.

He is survived by his wife, the former Noella Bussier, whom he married on Oct. 13, 1972 of Lisbon; three daughters, Susan Trottier and her husband, Jerry, of Minot, Tina Campbell and her husband, Jim, of Newport News, Va., and Kim Taggart of Mesa, Ariz.; four sons, Normand Ouellette and his wife, Patty, of Piola, Ind., Paul Ouellette, Daniel Ouellette and Robby Ouellette and his wife, Bonnie, of Auburn; a sister, Joylene Goulet and her husband, Rene, of Auburn; 16 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and five stepchildren.

He was predeceased by his father and mother; and a daughter, Carol Ann Maciejewski.
