Lewiston – Jane K. McCray, 59, of Lewiston, passed away on Friday, Dec. 12, at Central Maine Medical Center.

She was born in Lewiston on Dec. 18, 1948, the daughter of the late Wilson and Kathleen McDade McCray. She was educated in Lewiston schools and graduated from Lewiston High School with the class of 1967.

Jane was employed for over 30 years at Liberty Mutual in Lewiston, joining the company in May of 1972. She was a communicant of St. Joseph’s Church and enjoyed reading, cross stitching, rug hooking, jigsaw puzzles and crossword puzzles. She especially enjoyed spending her summers at the family camp in Harpswell and the company of her cat “Sam.”

She is survived by two sisters, Ann Thackerey of Morgan, Utah, and Pamela Grossman and husband, Daniel, of Green Bay, Wis.; two nieces and a nephew, Heidi Marion, Erica Grossman and Austin Grossman; a grand-niece, Edie Marion; and aunts and cousins in Maine and Canada.
