LEWISTON – Yvette J. Dagneau, 74, of 10 Seville Place, Lewiston, died Sunday, Dec. 14, at Montello Manor, after a long illness.

She was born in Lewiston, on Sept. 18, 1934. She was educated in local schools and worked for many years in the area shoe industry. On Sept. 3, 1971, she married Richard R. Dagneau. A member of the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, she enjoyed traveling and was an avid reader.

Besides her husband of Lewiston, she is survived by a son, David and wife, Diane Dagneau, of Poland; and six grandchildren, Megan, Jeremy, and Brandon Dagneau, and Jacob, Andrew, and Hunter Ustach.

She was predeceased by a son, Donald Dagneau, on Sept. 15, 2002; two brothers, Lionel and Ronald St. Onge; and a sister, Theresa Blanchette.

The family would like to thank the staffs of Montello Manor, Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice, and Dr. Oswald, for all the loving care they gave Yvette during her final illness.
