FARMINGTON – A Christmas concert featuring vocal and instrumental music will be presented by the New Hope Baptist Church three nights this holiday season. Performances will be at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 20; Monday, Dec. 22; and Christmas Eve, Dec. 24.

The program includes many carols sung by the 25-voice choir, soloists, men’s ensemble, ladies’ trio and children’s choir. Among the songs will be “Oh, Little Town of Bethlehem,” “Good Christian Men Rejoice,” “Away In A Manger” and “God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen.”

Instrumental selections include “O Come, O Come, Emmanuel, flute; “Angels We Have Heard on High,” psalteries and bells; “Carol of the Bells,” bells; “What Child Is This,” harp; “Silent Night,” piano, acoustic guitar, violin and bells; “Joy to the World,” trumpets; and “We Three Kings,” clarinets and pennywhistle.
