MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) – After deliberating nearly 13 hours, the Manchester, N.H., jury has yet to decide the fate of Michael Addison.

Jurors were sent home on Wednesday around 4 p.m. and will return Thursday morning to resume deliberations.

They must decide whether Addison receives the death penalty or life in prison without possibility of parole for the 2006 fatal shooting of Manchester police Officer Michael Briggs.

Attorneys wrapped up closing arguments on Monday and the jury was handed the case that afternoon.

Thursday will mark the fourth day of deliberations.
