PORTLAND – The Maine Association of Nonprofits has developed new training programs for nonprofit leaders seeking assistance to navigate the economy.
The new courses include:
Friday, Jan. 16, 9 to 11 a.m.: “Weathering the Storm – Position Your Organization for Fundraising in Any Economic Climate,” presented by Lisa Wahlstrom via webinar.
Tuesday, Jan. 27, 9 a.m. to noon: “Collaboration: A Practical Approach,” presented by Carole Martin at the United Way of Greater Portland.
Tuesday, Feb. 3, 9 a.m. to noon: “How to Dissolve Your Nonprofit with Dignity,” presented by Dianne Holcomb at Casey Family Services in Portland.
Wednesday, Feb. 18, 9 a.m. to noon: “How to Ask Strangers for Money: The Art of Sales,” presented by Donna Brassard at the Burton Cross Building in Augusta.
