RUMFORD – A Mass of Christian Burial for John G. Rivard of Rumford was celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, at the Parish of the Holy Savior with the Rev. Angelo LeVasseur as celebrant.

Altar assistant was George Gionet, and organist was Mark Belanger. A reading was given by Arthur Meader.

Music selections were “To Where You Are,” “Be Not Afraid,” “On Eagle’s Wings” and “Because the Lord Is My Shepherd.”

Interment will be in the spring at St. John Cemetery, Rumford.

A reception followed the Mass in the Parish Hall of the Church.
