PORTLAND (AP) – A 26-year-old man from Gray faces sentencing next month following his conviction in connection with a baseball bat attack during a home invasion in September 2007.

State police say Tyler McFarland was convicted last week in Cumberland County Superior Court of elevated aggravated assault, robbery and burglary.

McFarland was accused of stealing prescribed oxycodone and more than $200 from the home of Anthony Nelson, who suffered head and facial injuries in the attack.
